All In The Family!
The English language continues to be an important language—an increasingly important language—throughout the world. But, of course, much of the world does not understand English. Other languages within our “family” of radio languages on KNLS include Chinese, Russian, Arabic, Spanish, and also English with an African appeal and sound. Below are introductions to four of these websites. For those you don’t understand, pass the word to people who do. Each one is uniquely designed for the people who are native speakers of those languages. We welcome your feedback on any or all of these websites. Speak Chinese? Sign on to our Chinese website, www.smzg.org, and find hundreds of choices of programs about marriage and the family, English tutorials, American culture, help for the disabled, health issues, safety, retirement, Bible stories and Bible study courses, lessons on ethics and morals, an audio New Testament, and much, much more. Edward Short is our Senior Producer for Chinese. Edward Ho is our Producer-Host for Chinese. Our Russian website is www.knls.net. The site contains segments on marriage and the family, parenting, English language tutorials, health and exercise, stories of Russian philosophers and theologians, “In Search of Meaning,” “Well Put” (quotations by famous people), Questions That Deserve Answers, a Russian diary, and much, much more. Konstantin Chernushenko is our Russian Senior Producer. www.AfricanPathways.org is our website specifically designed for readers and listeners in sub-Saharan Africa. On the left side of the Home Page, click on “Pathways to . . .” for a variety of essays, reports, and eye-catching articles. Look also at the offerings in French, Hausa, and Yoruba. Henry Huffard is our Senior Producer for Africa.
