God wants people—all people—to enjoy a personal relationship with him. Many in our world have little or no opportunity to hear about God’s open invitation.
KNLS is a part of World Christian Broadcasting, a non-profit organization supported by concerned Christians. Its purpose is to take the message of God—through mass media—throughout the world.
The message of God is relevant for all times and places, yet the ways that message is delivered must stay current. KNLS’s website and international shortwave broadcasting both communicate the Good News to millions every day. Located at the top of the world in Anchor Point, Alaska, KNLS has been on the air since 1983. A sister station is presently under construction on the island nation of Madagascar.
www.knls.org circles the globe. KNLS, our shortwave station in Alaska, blankets highly populated regions such as China, Russia, and hundreds of smaller areas. By speaking in people’s own language, forming friendships, and creating bonds of trust, KNLS sparks hope, interest, and curiosity among listeners. Programming encourages a search for meaning in life, spiritual reflection, and personal study of the message of Jesus. By the grace of God and the technology He provides, the mission of KNLS is to open the Good News of God to a world desperately in need.
