Everybody has problems. It doesn’t matter who you are or where you live, you have something that makes your life a little less pleasant or more difficult. When we’re faced with problems or obstacles, we often say to ourselves, “it’s impossible.” That means we think our problem cannot be solved or that we cannot do whatever it is we are trying to accomplish. Maybe you’re trying to pass a difficult class in school. Maybe you’re trying to solve a problem on your job or with your family. Or maybe it’s something else that is affecting your life. Whatever it is, you feel it’s just too heavy and too difficult to overcome. If you’re trying to do something and give up, the only thing certain is that you will not achieve what you’re trying to accomplish. Giving up is not the answer. It doesn’t solve anything. If you have a problem or obstacle in your life, it can be overcome. But you cannot do it alone. With God’s help, you can do it. What we are trying to do may be difficult. It may be very difficult. When we have faith in God, though, it is not impossible. Not impossible at all. That’s because with God, all things are possible. In the New Testament book of Luke, Chapter 18, verse 27, we learn “There are some things people cannot do, but God can do anything.” Let’s read that again. “There are some things people cannot do, but God can do anything.” There is absolutely nothing that God cannot do. He is all-knowing and all-powerful. If we turn to Him, we will get the encouragement we need to accomplish our goals in life. When we put our trust in God, we find we can do things that we thought we would never be able to do. I’m Paul Ladd with Positive Answers. |
